Ryan Debrosse, the owner & founder of Sea Land Energy, got
his start early by learning the family business.

The business first originated in New Bedford, Massachusetts when
his grandfather followed his dream and started a heating oil company
and Debrosse Oil was founded in 1934.

From there, it grew and was known for its honest dependability, loyalty
and customer service. Ryan’s father was eager to discover what the
business was all about and continued the family legacy from delivering
oil to burner service to President. Presently, Debross Oil is still in
existence and has expanded into a full service marine fuels operation.

In late 2008, Ryan decided the time was right to start his own company here in Maine. He has gained invaluable knowledge in both working with his father, and seven years delivering for Union Oil in Portland, ME. Interacting with customers on these different levels has given him the outlook of what the customer really wants-dependability, loyalty and excellent customer service.
